Clarinase Repetablets (14 tablets) is a non-drowsy, long-acting medication combining 5mg loratadine (antihistamine) and 120mg pseudoephedrine sulfate (decongestant). It provides rapid, sustained relief from nasal congestion, sneezing, runny nose, and itchy eyes associated with allergies (hay fever) or the common cold, suitable for adults and adolescents (12+). Key Details for Clarinase Repetablets 5/120mg (14s): Active Ingredients: 5mg Loratadine (antihistamine) and 120mg Pseudoephedrine Sulfate (decongestant). Mechanism: The “repetablets” formulation releases 5mg loratadine and part of the pseudoephedrine immediately, while the remaining pseudoephedrine is released later for prolonged action. Uses: Relieves symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and the common cold, including congestion, sneezing, rhinorrhea, and itchy eyes. Dosage: The recommended dose for adults and children 12 years and over is one tablet twice daily (every 12 hours). Administration: Swallow whole with water; do not chew, crush, or break the tablet. Important Warnings: Contraindications: Not for children under 12, during pregnancy/breastfeeding, or if allergic to any components. Side Effects: May cause insomnia, tachycardia, palpitations, dry mouth, or dizziness.
