Postinor-2 is an emergency contraceptive designed to help prevent pregnancy after unprotected sex or contraceptive failure. Each pack contains 2 tablets, each with 0.75 mg of Levonorgestrel, a synthetic progestogen that works by delaying ovulation and preventing fertilization.  Effective emergency contraception if taken within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse  Two-dose regimen: Take one tablet as soon as possible, and the second tablet 12 hours later  Not intended for routine contraceptive use  Does not terminate an existing pregnancyÂ
